Continued - Chapter Five
Yes, I know I have not done a book review since May 7th 2015. (Recollecting A Forgotten Desire)
Apologies. It's hard doing so many things at once and producing other blogs in between.
Those of you who have been adventurous enough to read my fiction novel; Broken Oath, will have observed that in the beginning of Karob's existence, and even in the first few chapters; he portrays himself as a very self confident being. Yet by the time the story gets to chapter five, he is less so, why is that?
From my own life experience, I have observed that when we are in tune with our purpose and are true to our oath, whatever that may be; it is as though an invisible force-field surrounds us; keeping us on our path. We are spiritually strong and confident - nothing can touch us because we are 'protected.' Yet, as soon as we take ourselves out of and away from the energy of our sacred house, everything changes. Effectively, we have broken our oath and left ourselves open to attack, distraction, influence and manipulation - worse, we become emotional wrecks; making wrong decisions and taking our lives on a different pathway.
And so it is with Karob; one moment he was the confident Lord of Karma, able to come and go as he pleases and the next, he catches sight of the woman of his desire, puts her before his oath and takes his energy out from the protection of the karmic shield. Before he knows what is going on, he soon becomes 'emotional' over the want of Melee; he loses his self confidence and as the story goes on, he becomes doubtful, paranoid and indecisive. All this happened to him as a result of breaking his commitment to adhere to his role as the Lord of Karma.
We can all complain about situations in our lives, but if we look closely, we would observe that the dis-ease is a result of breaking an oath or commitment we once took, whether we are aware of it or not.
Let us go deeper into this topic for the mass of humanity should be able to resonate with Karob's circumstances. Take for instance the moment before you were born, you took an oath, a commitment to live according to the purpose you chose or the agenda given to you. Only you know what that is. Most of us forget what it was by the time we reach adulthood. Our lives soon becomes plagued with pain and hardship as our confidence and self esteem become eroded because we are no longer protected by that energy that kept us on the true pathway to our purpose.
I confess that I am guilty of the above. But fortunately for me, I have found my purpose again and am back on track. Henceforth, I am very confident, I have high self esteem and am protected by the energy of my purpose; my oath that I took long time ago. I have ease in my life instead of dis-ease and I mean to stay connected to my purpose.
When you do what you are meant to be doing, you are generally more confident and stronger in body, mind and spirit.
As Karob pursues his own desires; not realising that some oaths cannot be broken, he will be plagued by pain and disappointments. He will be open to manipulation and blinded by his own arrogance which he will mistake for confidence. Trickery and disillusion will follow him until he figures it out.
Oaths are broken constantly, but they can be mended. We just have to be aware of the consequences and stay on track.
