How Do You React If You Find Out You Have Cancer?

Some time ago, I met 2 beautiful young ladies who happened to be sisters. Whilst we were chatting and finding out about each other, one sister mentioned that she was off sick from work for 6 months. I looked at her and said. “What for, you look wonderful and fine to me.” And she did. She was bright, positive, she had a gorgeous smile that lit up the room, her energy was high, she looked extremely healthy, exactly the right amount of flesh on her bones and curves in all the right places.

She told me she had breast cancer, and that she had been undergoing treatment for the last 5 months. She had one more treatment to go. I was amazed. I said. “But you look wonderful!” She went on to say that her hair was a wig (you could have fooled me. Her hair looked so real and perfect)

I became intrigued as to how she managed to carry off this ‘appearance.’ She says she pays no mind to the cancer; she refused to accept and acknowledge it. She wanted to live. She wanted to get married and have kids and have a bright and positive future.

She went on to say she goes to the gym, jogs and engages in all kind of keep fit activities. She simply lived life to the full. She refuses to run with the cancer. “Let it run its own race.” She retorted. Just looking at her, she was definitely winning the race and running ahead with Life. She refused to give the cancer a life (her life). She refused to give it a meaning or an existence. I was so impressed. I observed her as she told her story. I could see she was going to win, she was going to Live. She had no self-pity and no pity for the cancer. She was celebrating and living Life. Well done to her.

I told her she was truly amazing. I know this young lady will live to tell her story to many people; her future husband, children and grandchildren, because she was looking forward to getting on with Life. May she live long and prosper.

I have shared this story many times over but only when it needed to be told and this is just an occasion.

This story is to commemorate my dear friend Ian who lost his battle with cancer in January this year and to remind myself and others that it is not all bad. With cancer, you win some, you lose some.

Farewell Ian, until we meet again.

farewell my friend

Many Purpose, One Soul - BROKEN OATH Book Review and Discussion Part Three (The Lord Supreme)

Hello avid readers

I know it has been a while since the last book discussion; I did not want to interfere with Mother’s Day. Also I wanted to give as many readers as possible, time to digest the book review before moving on, plus before I could blink, Easter was on our doorstep.

Now that we have these events behind us, I hope you have enjoyed the last two evaluations of Broken Oath. Now, let’s continue the discussion:-

But, before I start, I’d like to point out the fact that, it was the Prologue we were discussing in the last two reviews and not chapter one; my apologies. We shall move on to the character of the Lord Supreme.

It is clear and obvious that he is indeed a handsome man who is proud, confident and even arrogant. I can imagine him just as he is portrayed in the beginning of the book and his stance as he admires his kingdom. He is a strong minded person, who demands not just obedience, but a complete submission of will from all his subjects.

As it is seen with his relationship with The Lady of stature; it is not enough for him to have her physically, he wants a ‘giving up’ of her higher-self, to him. Only then will he be satisfied. He appears all powerful, but when it comes to relationships, he lacks the natural flare on how to charm a lady. Yet, with his energy, he masks this flaw in his character as he gains more points in managing all in his kingdom.

He is a man who is used to getting his own way in every area of his life and has never come across any obstacle until his encounter with The Lady of stature. His force which enables him to conquer all human will, does not even waver with this Lady; and he soon becomes obsessed with her.

Her untamed energy attracted him. This is clear when he reflects on his observation of her in court; he could see clearly that no one or man had power over her. She was in total control. Did he see her as a challenge? It is said that we all crave that which we cannot have or that which is beyond our reach.

Or, maybe he felt she equalled or complimented his own energy and in his mind he fantasised that they would be happy together.

I have heard that story before on more than one occasion; listening to friends who are so infatuated with a person they believe something is going on or will happen. But it is just an illusion of the mind.

In the case of the Lord Supreme, his ego helps to dictate his decisions which compel him to make this one sided relationship work, one way or the other.

Despite his lack of dating skill, he does have other abilities to compensate. He is very intelligent, manipulative, and skilled in the art of dark magic and/or alchemy. He easily entered the domain where The Lady of stature resides, unnoticed and unchallenged by the guards he took her away without confrontation.

Yet with all his skills would he ever find a dark magic that would enable him to possess her soul?

His pride and arrogance would never let her go and he is a very determined man who was prepared to kill her rather than admit defeat. This is why the Physician intervened just in time to rescue The Lady from her fate.

This desperate need to possess the body, mind and soul of The Lady of stature would eventually burn into his own soul and cause him to act out the same no win scenario again in his next existence.

This is a karmic loop which happens to be best of us, and we are not aware of it. We will keep on making the same mistakes until we learn from them. Only then, can we move on to the next level of our lives, whether it be this or the next reincarnation of our soul.

The Lord Supreme activates his own karma; once he is transported to another dimension by the newly formed Lady of Time, as the Lord Supreme dominates, so he too is to be dominated…by a Woman.

His arrogance creates problems as it make him blind to what is really happening; when he is transported to another dimension, as he lay frozen, shivering on the ground; his body covered with ice; even though he no longer had the upper hand, still, he tries to exert his supreme authority. He became enraged when this unknown female did not yield to his force. He is aware that he is in a dilemma but he is determined not to give in; his ego would not let him.

His traits are not necessarily a bad thing as his new mistress is well aware. His ego gives him courage to keep going as oppose to giving up.

She knows his energy is very potent and can be of much use to her in more ways than one which is why it is no accident that she creates a new role for him, one that in fact fits his character, like a glove. He is chosen to commit to an oath that was always meant to be him.

The Universe does not act on impulse and it does not discriminate but ordains what is already going to be.

The character of the Lord Supreme certainly makes this book a compelling read.

If you have any comments to add to this review, please feel free to join in and add to the discussion.

Next discussion (in two weeks) we will review – the Physician.

Broken Oath - An Easter Message

Don't bury yourself in an egg
this Easter, order this book instead
The Easter season is upon us and for many Christians, Good Friday is a significant day, as all God fearing people reflect upon the death of Jesus. We see how Peter the disciple did not keep to his commitment with Christ and the consequence of breaking that oath.

We are all guilty of breaking our oath with Christ at some point in our lives and also to our fellow man or woman.

Lucky for us, the Universe always has a master plan. In the case of Jesus, it involved his resurrection and the lesson we all have to learn from this episode of his life.

The story of Jesus is interesting and likewise, Broken Oath is an intriguing story. A tale of two important beings that break their oaths to pursue their own agendas, only to incur severe consequences. And just like the story of Jesus; whatever happens the Universe is always one step ahead.

Whatever your plans this Easter, don’t bury yourself in an egg, order your copy of Broken Oath, put it on your list of activities. Get involved in this book and lose yourself in the magical and mystical world of entrapment, betrayal and reincarnation. When you have read this breath-taking novel, only then will you realise that some commitments or oaths are not meant to be broken.

Order your copy for Easter Now or better still; instead of giving an egg, present this book; Broken Oath as a superb Easter gift.

What Does A Mountain, A Volcanic Rock And The Deep Blue Sea Have In Common?

I found that answer in an inspirational thought that came to me when I was on holiday with my daughter in Madeira 2011. I was so inspired; I was compelled to write it all down:-

On one of our excursions, we drove to the top of the
I had a sense of the mountain's energy
third highest mountain in Madeira. It was spectacular.
The clouds danced round the mountain peak, the greenery
and trees grew scattered about in all shapes and forms
where ever they could.

There were parts of the alp which seemed
so spectacular as it bared it’s bold, jagged and fearful
rockery for all to see.

I had a sense of the mountain’s energy; easy life, eternal beauty, total power and defining it's own destiny.
I can definitely identify with that.

As I absorbed this breath-taking vision, it gave me cause to think; the lower down to the ground you are in life, the more things happen to you; and at times unpleasant things.  And certainly if you don’t know where you are going, life drags you along and takes you for a ride; on a journey you did not ask for.  Obstacles constantly get in your way.  For most of us, it is easy to stay down, that way we can blame life for whatever happens to us or what we do not achieve.

Getting to the top however, takes discipline, even extreme and constant discipline.  But this does not mean giving up anything or everything; well, except stupidity, foolishness and making excuses to take yourself out of the game.

Being at the top of the mountain was a powerful feeling, I loved it as I admired the view, the magnificence and the force. I revered the way the peaks weathered the elements with a pinch of salt; it’s existence and stature unruffled; it’s prominence intact.

I aspired to be like that mountain; I aspired to rise beyond myself and beyond my boundaries. I aspire to model the steadfast qualities, the mantra; easy life, eternal beauty, total power and defining my own destiny.

I loved the sea; so endless, so powerful
and so unshakable.
As we drove along the cliffs, we were always close to the sea.  And we would stop to admire the view; to watch and hear as the ocean released itself and lashed the rocks with it’s might. Or, in another instant, the sea would be calm and vast beyond what the eye could see, going on forever and ever, with no end.

And I loved the sea, so endless, so powerful, so and
unshakable. No force on earth has the power to conquer or still it.

It is a hierarchy with it’s own unquestionable law, to be respected and admired.  A might that begs to be understood.

I aspire to be as powerful as the sea; to release my potential beyond my expectations; to be limitless and free.

The rock showed off the spirit, the force
and the unfathomable nature of the sea.
Further along the shoreline, I admired a huge volcanic rock in the ocean.   Again I loved the way it negotiated wisely
with the sea.  The sea surrounds it and shows off the
rock’s magnificence, might, stability, solidity,
tenaciousness, durability and it’s long withstanding.
And likewise, the rock showed off the spirit, the force
and the unfathomable nature of the sea.  A freedom,
which is totally beyond boundaries and beyond measure.
Together they made a beautiful partnership.

This inspiration reminds me of why I am on my own;
being single is wonderful, and I will only give it up to join with an ideal partner whereby being in dual-ship becomes the best thing in the world.  A unique team of 100% support in dual amplification of our personal powers.  The rock amplifies the sea and the sea returns the favour.   Such beauty; the rock, and the sea, undefeated.  I learnt a lot from that view.  And I aspire to have such a union with the right person.

I loved the inspiration of the mountain, the rock and the deep blue sea.  The difference between them all is, they don’t play small; they play limitless.

Many Lives One Soul - Broken Oath Book Review And Discussion continued

Many Lives One Soul - Broken Oath Book Review and Discussion: Part 2
Chapter One - Before the Beginning (The Lady of Stature)

Hello Readers

I have spoken to some of you and I am glad to see that you enjoyed the first part of the book review/discussion. So that you never miss any of my news and views on my book or any other topic, sign up to:- http://www.bloglovin.com/blog/10613721/broken-oath

So, let’s continue dissecting chapter one; the character of the Lady of Stature.

She is a strong young woman; with her own mind and her own will. One can assume she has never given in to any man. As we can see the Lord Supreme is unable to ‘break her.’ Still, the Lady knows her own limits. She is aware that her energy is slowing ebbing away and that soon she will either submit to her dilemma or die. And even when all seems loss, she has enough reserves to hold on and grasp any opportunity; the timely entry of the Physician. See how she is always in that ‘flight’ mode. Ready to escape any way she can.

Do you think the Physician knew exactly what he was doing when he chose that exact moment to enter her chamber and offer a solution to her predicament? Did he know she would ‘jump in’ first and think about where she has landed later?

Have we not all done that at one time in our lives? I know I have and found myself unable to severe bond I have agreed to, unless I am prepared to accept severe consequences.

Can it be that the Physician had intended all along to recruit the Lady; knowing this flaw in her character. This is a very special Lady; no ordinary being. It could be that she was chosen since the beginning of time and there would never be a ‘get out.’ clause for her. Her flaw would ensure her enrolment over and over again. Indeed the Universe knows her by her ethereal name; the Lady of Time. Wherever she reincarnates, that is who she is.

Those of you who have read the book will already know she can never escape that fact.

And so it is for us. Sooner or later our commitment catches up with us. Throughout my life, I have observed how people create all kinds of scenarios to avoid their responsibilities, including wilful ill health and disabilities. But karma, time and reincarnation are one enemy you cannot escape. They will find you, and you will do what you were ordained to do, whether you like it or not.

See how the Lady of stature easily slips into her role as Lady of Time, she may not know it but perhaps she has been down this road before. And the energy of Time wastes not the moment of unification and conforms to the force of the Lady as she soon wields her power to banish her gaoler to the 5th Dimension.

Speaking of which, it is not poetic justices that the Lord Supreme who dominated the Lady of stature ends up being dominated by a woman. The very woman who has always longed to have and to hold him, anyway she can.

Clearly the Universe has a sense of humour and despite our meagre plotting, Nature always hold all the cards to the master plan.

If ever you thought there was a conspiracy against you, then you are correct, the Universe is always conspiring. Far better to join the grand design than to be a lone architect. But then, that is the pathway the Lord Supreme had chosen. He wanted all his way or no way. His force was such that of all the dimensions, he ended up bound to a power very much like his own; reiterating the law of attraction.

He may have felt repulsed by the whole situation but the fact remains; like attract like and vice versa.

Let’s end the review/discussion here for now. I hope you enjoyed the reading.

Many Lives One Soul – Broken Oath Book Review and Discussion

Chapter One - Before the Beginning

Once again, thanks to all of you who have read my book. You now possess something no one else has; a part of the subconscious mind of the author. And if you join in this review/discussion, you will gain even more revelations.

It is interesting to note that each of you had different insights, views and your own favourite characters. And at least one of you was able to acknowledge that the story has depth; it does indeed go deep. If you as a reader can go that far into the abyss, it shows how open you mind is to the Universe, and that’s good. In that case, you really will enjoy these discussions.

Not a lot of readers know this, but chapter one was actually chapter 12. As I considered this my best chapter; the one I always talked about before I even published my book, under the advice of my mentor and coach Millionaire Author Stephanie Hale, this part of the book became the beginning of the story to set the scene for Broken Oath. (Which I might add was not the original title of the book either. But that is another topic for discussion.)

This chapter was meant to be a flashback into one of the many reincarnations of the Lady of Stature, or Lady of Time, otherwise known as Melee.

I was endeavouring to show the reader how it is not by accident that you can end up in a situation in life. Nor is it coincidence that your destiny takes you on a particular pathway. Your decision determines your destination. It is the result of the choice you made yesterday.

Consider how many times you have said to yourself. “Why am I here?” “Why is this happening to me?” “It is something I did in my past life?” Whilst you may make these statements flippantly at times, subconsciously, you are trying to remember a promise you made; An Oath, made a long time ago.

This is how it is with the Lady of Stature. And in fact, as those readers who have read Broken Oath have observed, even before this episode, she has already broken a commitment. In all her rebirth, she relived this cycle.

That being so, then it is not purely by accident that she ends up imprisoned in the fortress of the Lord Supreme.

Note that ‘around her waist was a deep belt, 5 inches wide. And attached to the belt was a chain…3 inches in diameter…with a length of 16 ft. It stretched from beneath her bed and allowed her limited mobility.’ What is that all about you may ask?

Well, from the point of view of the Universe, (although the Lady of Stature may not see it that way, because she has still to learn her lesson.) The belt, the chain, the limited mobility and the bed are significant. The belt is the belt of truth; the oath she took and that which the Universe still holds her to. This is confirmed on page 15 when the Lady calls to the Physician. “But what about this band around my waist?”…There was silence, and then his voice. “………….it will hold you to your Oath until the end of Time.”

The chain is to ensure the bond; the limited mobility is all that she has given up for the cause. The bed is personal. It was a choice that she alone made.

If you and I are honest, we can all identify with the situation, whether it be factual or metaphorically. How we view a situation and how the Universe creates it are 2 very different scenarios for one meaning. Which more often than not, we never connect the dots. Lucky for the Lady (including ourselves) there are many lifetimes to understand the lesson taught and get it right.

I’ll shall end this discussion now as some of you must be thinking, “Oh my goodness, this is too deep.” Plus when I write anything, it always comes from the creative energy within me. Once that is used up, I usually end up writing nonsense so it is best if I stop now.

I do hope this short discussion and insight gives you all food for thought.

We’ll catch up soon. Watch this space for more revelations in Chapter one of Broken Oath; we will continue reviewing the character of the Lady of Stature.
