Past Life - A Healing Or Time For Revenge

Continuing on from my blog on 28th May 2015 on How I Overcame A Phobia (you might want to recap by reading the article)

I didn't tell the whole story. So, sit back as I reveal all:-

Briefly going over the blog of 28th May, I asked my subconscious mind why I had a phobia of deep water to which I later had a dream. I dreamt of a young child who drowned by being wedged in a pothole. She was in the care of a relative who for some reason, just stood there while the child came to her demise. My interaction with this dream somehow cured me of my fear deep water.

So, let's move forward from that. As I stated, having healed myself from my fear of deep water and coming to an understanding that our souls are always reborn, I began to wonder if the woman in the dream who was meant to caring for me (the child) had reincarnated in this lifetime. Afterall, we are connected to people by an invisible emotional energy, it makes sense that they might follow us wherever we travel throughout the Universe.

Not being content with being free of my phobia, I became angry. I wanted revenge. I hoped that the woman was somewhere living within my environment; Maybe she was a member of my family, or relative or neighbour, or even a close friend. I hoped that she would recognise me and see that I am alive and strong. I wanted her to see me and be unable to look me in the eye without knowing the real reason why; because once upon a lifetime ago, she let me die. I was filled with anger. I wanted to know who this woman was in this lifetime.

I was cross for a few days when one night, I had a dream:-

I dreamt I was in a dark place. It was a vast plane. I was sitting on a chair and sitting next to me on the floor was the woman who had let me drown a lifetime ago. Her head was resting on my knee. As she kept her head down, she spoke to me and said. "I am a good person, I always try to do good." And then she was silent. I realised then that she was asking for forgiveness. I felt sorry for her and I strokes her hair. As I did so, I saw what was on her mind:-

I saw in my mind's eye, a young woman who was in some sort of relationship with a man. Somehow, the child could see that he was a bad person. She tried to tell the woman but she was so influenced by him she would not listen to the little girl. She met the man and told him what the girl had said. This man however, knew the child was right about him. As I continued to see the vision, I saw that the man belonged to a cult. He went to his members and told them about the girl and her ability to see him for what he really was. They were men and women who sat in a row.  One of the members told the man that he had to get rid of the child. I heard them say. 'She has to die.'

The scene changed and I saw again the same dream I had days earlier. The woman and the chlld, the wind blowing the umbrella out onto the road, the girl running after it. And all the while the woman stood there motionless. I saw that the woman was in a trance and in the distance, I could see the man. In my mind's eye, I could sense that he had the power of thought and that he had influence the woman not to see the child's predicament; so that she would not react to the situation.

The vision ended and I woke up from the dream. I was sad. I had tears in eyes. I rose from my bed and said a prayer. I thanked God, I prayed for forgiveness, I forgave the woman and I released her and all my negative emotions on the matter. And after that I felt fine. I knew that everything was alright and it did not matter anymore. I had let it go.

Sometimes, it is not important to know how or why a thing happened or to get hung up on who did what but to have enough faith to release the negative emotion.

I understand now that bad things happen. And it's OK, it doesn't matter anymore. I have accepted my healing and I have moved on with love.

I hope you enjoyed the reading.

On the Subject of Past Lives and Reincarnation

Hello Colleagues

I have not followed up since attending the Brian Weiss event on 30th and 31st May 2015 on past lives and reincarnation. I had a great time and met some wonderful people.

This is a subject close to my heart as my novel Broken Oath amongst other things is all about this topic. I remember not too long ago, it was difficult to talk about this matter to my associates, as past lives was a taboo conversation, if not demonic. At one time, I was even concerned at upsetting people by publishing my book with entries on the matter.

Now, thanks to Dr Brian Weiss, I can talk about it openly. This topic resonates very well with my book. So far, all those who have read it have enjoyed being taken on the journey of time travel, reincarnation, past lives, broken oaths, karma, deja vu and conspiracies of the universe.

For those of you who have yet to discover Broken Oath; the novel is about a Lady of stature who is imprisoned by a Lord supreme. She escapes by accepting and oath to become the Lady of Time, wherein with her new powers, she banished her capture to another dimension. After 3,000 years have gone by, she is confident that she will never meet him again and breaks her oath to remain as a human on earth but how wrong she is; the Lord is now the Lord of Karma who goes by the name of Karob and whilst executing his duty, per chance catches sight of her again and the energy of their past lives together is reactivated and he breaks his oath to pursue her again.

But the Universe had other plans and reincarnates a part of their lives which is to be played out on Earth, for them to come to terms that their oaths cannot be broken. The Lady of Time is reincarnated as a simple village girl who has reoccuring past life dreams which she cannot explain.

Those of you who are captivated by the subject will approve of my book. As within the chapters, young Melee as she is now called, is prepared, through a dream, for the reincarnation of another soul who is to come into her life. That soul would be a warrior from another life time by the name of Malachi.

In his past lifetimes, Malachi had been a handsome and strong warrior, but on this occasion, he is born as a sickly, physically and assumed mentally challenged individual. I recall Brian Weiss mentioning something along the lines that sometimes, we reincarnate in these condition to experience receiving love. That is our karma. Likewise in Broken Oath, Malachi's karma is not to be handsome, brave and resourceful but to be helpless and to receive the love and care from Melee until the exact moment when he is meant to rescue her from her oppressor.

It is interesting to note that once we know and understand about life; past, present and future how everything seems to make sense, situations are no longer a mystery, not even the way we feel about ourselves.

In chapter nine of my book, Malachi observes himself in a mirror, he cannot come to terms with his ugly looks and gait. He tries to straighten himself as he feels he should be tall, strong and handsome, not the reverse. But alas, his twisted being would not succomb to a beautiful form. I put that in the book deliberately to show how sometimes, past life energies can be very strong; we can look in a mirror, see a face or a body and yet somehow, we don't know why but we are aware that we should be someone else.

In chapter fourteen, Karob comes face to face with Melee; he is so excited but despite her dreams, she has no idea who he is. And then there is the Healer, a character who has been in Melee's life throughout all her lifetimes. And so it is with us; some people will be with us, wherever our souls wonder, this is whether they are good or bad. Have you ever notice that some people are always in your life, you just can't get rid of them? Which brings me to the karmic loop; which is in reality what my book is about; a hidden story of three souls that are always inter-twined, no matter where they reincarnate.

If you enjoyed the May event, the talk and activities on reincarnation and past lives, then you will love Broken Oath.

How I Overcame A Phobia

Hello Readers and new followers

Continuing on from my blog on 7th May 2015 – (Broken Oath Book Review - chapter five) Recollecting A Forgotten Desire; where I shared with you my own experience of remembering a forgotten issue; fear of deep water - those of you who are curious to know how I cured myself from this phobia - take a seat and relax as you read my story – everything happened in real time:-

It was 30th November 2003, a period before I started accepting and believing in my intuition. At the time, I was embarking on a home study personal development course; Spiritual Psychology. I was studying a module about 'clearing' - getting rid of old stuff - negative emotions that no longer served me. In the text, I came across the term 'free association of ideas.' I was intrigued, as I had never heard of this terminology before; having a blank page/paper, asking a question and writing down whatever pops into my head. So, I thought OK, let me give it a go and so I asked the question. ‘Why am I so afraid of deep water?' I can't recall how long I sat there with my blank sheet of paper and my pen, but nothing happened. No information came to mind. Anyway, I forgot about it and went to bed. That night, I dreamt:-

I was walking along a busy road somewhere in the pouring with rain. I saw a woman and a child who were about to cross a busy dual carriageway. I looked to my left and saw some children in a shop entrance and my mind’s eye told me that they were related to the woman and the child.

The child was a girl around 3 or 4 years old, she wore a yellow dress or skirt which touched the ground and a three quarter length red coat. She also had an red umbrella to match. I noticed the woman was holding her hand tightly and that the child was in distress.

I ignored the scene and carried on walking when suddenly I heard the woman calling after the child. I looked back and saw that the girl was chasing her umbrella which had blown out of her hand by the wind. The umbrella had blown onto the dual carriageway - I saw the child run into the road after it and I was surprised that the woman did not go after her. Horrified, I chased after the girl. I ran into the road, but by this time, she had reached the other side of the carriageway still chasing her umbrella.

I tried to catch up with her but the harder I tried, the further she seemed to be away from me and the rain began to lash down hard on my face. I looked up and I could see the top of the dual carriageway; the cars were just beginning to come down the four lanes.

The child was on the opposite pavement still running here and there trying to catch her umbrella and each time the wind blew it further away from her. It blew the umbrella towards the road again. By this time, the road and pavement were beginning to flood with water and I was still some distance away from her, trying desperately to catch up with her.

I saw the girl run towards the road, totally oblivious to the danger she was in from the cars which by now were coming down the hill. As she ran closer to the edge of the pavement, it suddenly became awash with water and she fell over into it.  I was terribly anxious, my heart was pounding. I reached the part of the pavement where I saw her fall but I could not see her body on the ground. I looked behind me, I saw the waves of the flooded water roll back and forth over the pavement, then, suddenly I saw what looked like a pot hole at the side of the pavement in the road, it was then that I realised the child had fallen down into the dark hole. I screamed and ran over -  a young man also ran across to see what my distress was about.  At that point, I was on my knees with my hand in the hole, thrashing it to and fro. I could feel the mud and the slime; in my mind's eye I could see the blackness and could sense a demonic 'pull' or 'force.' I became afraid and I quickly withdrew my hand.

As I pulled out my arm, I screamed to the young man for help, then something made me look across to the other side of the road - there sitting on the ground were six men, none of whom would come to my aid. They just stared. I looked up and another man came over to join the young man already standing beside me. He was older and he a shovel in his hand. I asked him to help me to rescue the child but he just stood there staring at me and said nothing. Then without emotion he spoke. "There is nothing you can do, you cannot save her, she's gone, she's dead."

At that point I cried and I screamed. I wanted to save her, I so desperately wanted to save her. She was just there in the hole. In my mind's eye, I could see her body curled up, wedged in the dark pit. 'How could we just leave her there?’ I thought. (While all this was happening, the woman who was with the child did nothing, she just stood there on the opposite side of the road motionless.)

I got to my feet and stood there staring at the pot hole, I was crying and screaming at the men....then....without warning....my dream ended.

I woke up from the dream, my eyes streaming with tears, my heart pounding, I was so emotionally charged. I rose from my bed and went to the kitchen to get a drink; I thought that was the end of my dream but no so - it seemed the porthole of my dream world was still open – in my mind’s eye, I saw the young girl, though she was dead, she threw me a ball, I saw the ball coming and while I was still making my drink, I instinctively I raised my right hand and caught this invisible ball. As I did so, two things happened – the child whispered her name to me, it was the most beautiful name I have ever heard, secondly, I began to feel a tingling sensation run down my body; from my arm which held the ghostly ball, down to my feet. As this energy passed through me, I felt a ‘healing’ and I felt a ‘deep love.’

From that moment on, my fear of deep water vanished. After that regression, I was able to wash the dishes in the sink filled fully with water, I was able to bathe in the bath full with water and have a real soak. And when I had my next holiday which was in Dubai, December 2004, for the first time in my live, I enjoyed walking along the beach and allowing the waves of the sea to kiss my feet. It did not bother me to wade out in the water to gather seashells, it was wonderful.  I now dream of swimming with dolphins.

I discussed this dream with a relative, and I asked;-

If this was a past life experience of drowning, why was there a dual carriageway?

She said, my mind put together a scene that I was able to cope with and understand. Ok, I get that.

Why did I only notice the colour of clothes the child was wearing?

She stated: The child was specifically dressed in yellow and red because they were ‘sacrificial colours.’ And she was meant to die. Hm interesting.

Ok, why was I not able to save the girl.?

Answer – because I was only meant to see what happened, I was not meant to save her.

Very interesting! I never forgot the dream and I never forgot the child’s name.

If you have any views on this, let me know.

Hope you enjoyed this article. It was an emotional experience for me, but it cured my phobia.

Recollecting A Forgotten Desire

BROKEN OATH BOOK REVIEW - CHAPTER FIVE

I am excited about this chapter, I find it absolutely fascinating in this part of the book; after many Eons, Karob - the Lord of Karma, suddenly has a flash memory and recalls his soul's purpose; the pursuit of Melee; the Lady of Time and is surprised as to how he could have forgotten this issue. Actually he is fortunate as most of people drift through life with no idea why they are here or what they are really meant to be doing.

Many of us have a lot of unexplained and unresolved issues in our lives and no knowledge of how they got there or how to deal with them. Most of us would never consider the concept of reincarnation and that we bring our 'stuff' with us whether good or bad, into our next existence. We just see our situation as somebody else's fault or that is just the way life is.

Our subconscious mind is always trying to 'wake us up' to get us to remember; you know, that weird feeling you sometimes get - a feeling of something you are trying to remember but it always slip your mind. Or maybe you experience déjà vu.

Karob kept trying to remember, then without notice, it all came flooding back; emotions and all.  Amongst his feelings he must have felt angry, perhaps at himself for being hoodwinked. And I can imagine his frustration because now he was in a situation where his hands were tied and he is bound to a commitment at the behest of a higher force. I wonder how many of us have 'awaken' only to find our powers have been contricted by circumstances, environment, people around us or maybe even a continent.

In reality, the mass of humankind are unable to complete the journey of their soul's purpose, even when they have awaken; I can imagine that many, maybe, through embarrassment, thrust themselves into a state of frustration which manifests through illness, dis-ease of all kind and even phobias without ever knowing why.

I remember when I was child around 7 or 8 years of age, I was reading a book. Many of you may know this book; Cat In The Hat by Dr Seuss. As I read the book, I began reading a page where the cat was taking a bath, he pulled the plug and as the water began to be swallowed up in the plughole, the vacuum was so strong that it sucked the Cat In The Hat in as well. As I read, my emotions turns to shock horror and at that moment, I had a flash memory; it was something I forgot to remember, something terrible. What was it?............

I was afraid of water; something happened a long time ago, I didn't know what it was, I only knew it was bad and I had to stay away from deep water. This memory that came from nowhere had gripped me so strongly that after the recollection, for the rest of my life growing up, I steered clear away from anything that resembled deep water; I would only take shallow bath, I would never wash dishes with the sink 'full' of water. I can recall even being afraid as I put my hand in the sink to pull the plug.  I was apprehensive as I felt the suction of the water being lured into the plughole.  I did not go swimming at school, though I had to sit by in the swimming pool area and watch the other kids enjoy themselves, little did they know how terrified I was just being in that environment.

This phobia continued well into my adult life and into my 40's. What was it that I remembered?........ I drowned. I just couldn't remember where or when, but the fear of water and drowning was real.

Do you want to know how I found out what happened to me? How, where and why I drowned?.........Well, that's another story.

But can you now imagine how Karob soon became obsessed with finding Melee. He had to go back to the exact same location where he last saw her in order to pick up her spiritual trail. His frustration will continue as he now tries hard to get back on track and continue with his soul’s purpose.

Like Karob; all our ills are merely forgotten or unfinished business and issues, the soul never forgets; only when we deal with them and complete them, will they cease to plague our lives.

You can find out how I solved the mystery of my phobia in my next blog.

How To Bring A Character To Life

Did I ever share with you the time I unwittingly brought a character to life; it was a few years ago, while I was still writing my first novel Broken Oath.

As most authors know, even when you are writing one book, your mind is already creating a second one.

Well, I woke up one morning feeling excited after having a flash vision of a storyline and in particular, a character in my second book.  I immediately took pen to paper and began to write what I had seen in my dream; a tall man, elderly and scruffy-looking and he had a beard.  He wore a long, either dark grey or black coat and he carried an old black doctor's bag (like the one you see in horror movies).  He smelt old and dusty; as though he had been walking the Earth for a long, long time, throughout many lifetimes.  He walked with a slight hunch and he seemed to be in a hurry; like he had to be somewhere or see someone.  Wherever it was he was going, he was focused on getting to that destination.

I knew he was a time traveller and he was able to go wherever he wanted; to any dimensions or worlds.  He was never held up for too long at customs or by boarder agency custodians because he had a smell about him that wasn't exactly pleasing and people tend to let him through quickly.  And if you asked him where he was going, he would always answer.  "I am here to see someone."  You would never get another word out of him.  And his name was Alba.

I wrote that piece with power and passion in my journal, and forgot about it.  After all I was still writing my first book.  A few days later, I was out taking my lunch break at work and I saw a character on the other side of the road.  I was surprised, it was a man and he looked just like then person I had written about for my next book.  I had never seen this man before.  He was obviously new in the area. I had to stop and stare at him; there he was, with his long dark coat, his doctor's bag and he looked like he was in a hurry; focused as though he had to get somewhere.  He looked 'out of time.'  Like he didn't belong on this plane.  There was something about him, I couldn't believe what I was seeing so I dismissed it and got on with my life.

Suddenly, I kept on seeing this character; it was always around the same place; he walked like he was on a mission.  Then one day, during my lunch break again; I had just come out of Sainsburys when I happened to look up and who do you think was on the other side of the shopping mall?  This stranger;  I was shocked, I stared at him, then he turned and glanced in my direction and we made eye contact.  I was scared, I put my head down and pretended that I did not see him but I could sense that he was coming over to me and when I looked up again, there he was, standing before me.

I was apprehensive as I looked at him, he was exactly like the description of the fiction character of my next book; a tall old man, scruffy and with a beard.  He wore a long dark coat and he carried an old black doctors bag.  And.... He smelt very musty.  We were locked in a gaze when suddenly he spoke.

     "Hello!  How are you?"
"I am fine thank you."  I replied.  Then he spoke again.
     "What's your name?"
     "Dora."
     "What's my name?"
     "I'm sorry?"  I said.
     "What's my name?"  He repeated,
"Alba."  I responded, as that is the name I gave his character in my book.
"No!"  He retorted.   And again he said.
"What's my name?"
"I don't know."  I returned.  He looked at me intensely for a few seconds and said.
"My name is..."  He paused for a moment.
"I am here to see someone."  And with that last remark, he walked off then turned back slowly to look at me, gave a wry smile and carried on walking into the crowd.  I was dumbstruck, I just stood there.   I could not believe it.  What just happened I thought?  I was so shocked. I could not concentrate for the rest of the day as I went over the incident again and again in my head.

As soon as I got home I rushed to look at my notes.  Exactly what I wrote, that was what happened, and he spoke the exact words.  I was so spooked; did I create him?  Was he someone who knew I was writing about him?  Was he a Time Traveller?  Was he really not of our world?

I was so alarmed, I wrote no more about him and after a while, I never saw him again.  It was too much for me to handle; I was not ready for the supernatural and I am not sure if I will integrate his character into my next book, or should I?

I had the flash vision of this character on 19th June 2009 and I met him eleven days later.  I still have my notes to this day.  And I will never forget the encounter.

I marvel at the power of thought; the power of the subconscious mind; absolutely amazing!

Developing Your Intuition – A Set Of Keys

As I mentioned in my last blog, I now follow and truly believe in my intuition. Here’s an amazing story giving testimony to the power of the subconscious mind.

Some time ago I lost a set of keys to the garage where I park my car at night, as a result of course, I was unable to use my car. I knew I had it on me when I came home that evening. I searched everywhere but I couldn’t find it. I was frustrated, then, I remembered how great my subconscious mind is; the all seeing eye, that sees and knows everything. So, before going to sleep that night, I spoke to my subconscious. I relayed the problem and asked if it could show me where my garage keys were. A day or two later, I dreamt I was looking down into my apartment and a ‘wordless thought’ spoke and said my keys are in the flat. I woke up and thought, Ok, I now know my keys are in the home and I did not drop them outside. I need to be more specific as I had already looked in every room.

The following night I went through the same process; I spoke to my subconscious and asked where in the flat were my keys. And sure enough, a night or two later, I dreamt I was looking down into my lounge and the ‘wordless thought’ lead me to believe that this is where my keys can be located. I searched the whole room and still I could not find them. Yet again, before sleep, I had a another conversation with that all seeing eye of mine. I stated that I couldn’t find the keys, and again asked where they were. And I left it at that.

I went on with my daily life and one day a friend invited me round to dinner and I accepted. When I arrived at his abode, I noticed the seats of his settee were positioned vertically. When I asked why, he stated, it helps to prevent the seats from becoming soft and saggy; placing them upright from time to time puts them back into shape and the settee lasts longer and will remain firmer for a considerable period of time. I was impressed. I thought; I had my settee for a long time, perhaps I should try this technique.

The very next day, whilst no one was at home, I decided to place the seats of my settee upright. And as I turned up each seat, to my amazement, there were my garage keys. I had checked the settee before but I realised I only slid my fingers down the side, I did not take up each seat. I thanked my subconscious mind; the fountain of all knowledge which give me the answer to my questions in a most curious way.
